Background and Interests:<\/h3>\n

I am the speech-language pathologist for the Language Imaging Lab. My professional career has focused on providing therapy to adults primarily with acquired neurological disorders, including stroke and traumatic brain injury. I joined the lab in 2019 to conduct the therapeutic intervention for Dr. Pillay\u2019s tDCS study. Since then, I have expanded my role in the lab to include supporting our psychometrist in the administration and scoring process of language assessments for research studies. Along with conducting therapy, I am also the program coordinator for the Intensive Program for Aphasia Therapy (IPAT), which provides highly personalized and research-based therapy to people with aphasia in individual and group sessions during an intensive 2-week program. I strive to help people with aphasia, and their families, to live full and meaningful lives and co-lead our aphasia community group which provides a place for connection and support.<\/p>\n
